Monday,  April 15, 12:30-2:00,  UMC. At our usual General Meeting. SPECIAL CAHT PROGRAM: GET TO KNOW US BETTER! HUMAN TRAFFICKING 101 OVERVIEW AND PRESENTATIONS BY OUR BOARD AND CHAIRS ON WHAT WE DO FOR OUR COMMUNITY!! YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS ORIENTATION ON TWO IMPORTANT LEVELS — YOU WILL BECOME INFORMED ABOUT HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND RELATED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ISSUES AS WELL AS A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF HOW CAHT WORKS. The HT 101 session will offer an overview on human trafficking. The following topics will be shared: the main HT characteristics, national and international trends, how traffickers find their victims, the role social media plays, why victims have trouble leaving a HT web, recognizing the potential signs of vulnerability, and what our responsibilities are! Your Board of Directors and Committee Chairs will share important information on how our organization functions and the key value each of our volunteers play in our continued expansion and success.
