Mending Broken Hearts – Update

Our first social and fundraiser, Mending Broken Hearts, was held April 29th at SCC Chamber of Commerce, and was attended by over 100 guests. Everyone sampled international wines from PRP while nibbling on paired appetizers catered by Enterprising Latinas.  Dayve Stewart, saxophone musician, provided great jazz.  35 silent auction items were bid and there were door prizes and raffles for surprised winners.
CAHT was the biggest winner as we raised some funds for our continued efforts to support local school programs and survivors safe homes and rehabilitation centers.
The events committee did an excellent job of decorating and coordinating the afternoon.  Thanks to Bonnie and Bob Doll, Ann Fenimore, Kathy Lippincott, Debra May and Tom Goselin, Joan Wallace, Betty and John Mitchell and Matthew and Denise Merritt.
