Monique Payne is a Residential Coach at Selah Freedom where she works directly with survivors of sex trafficking. She is a survivor of sexual exploitation, which is why she is dedicated to helping other women overcome their past. Monique walks alongside survivors on their journey into freedom, and, through her own story, is able to encourage and inspire them that their past does not define who they are.
Monique came to Selah Freedom in 2016. She has since impacted the lives of survivors as well as teen girls, through Selah Freedom’s Prevention Program. She is passionate about educating and equipping youth so that they can protect themselves against the tactics of traffickers. She is a strong voice and advocate for survivors of sex trafficking and Selah Freedom’s mission to end it.
