Jan. 6, 2018  – – Saturday  5-7 pm  Let freedom Shine, Kickoff to Human Trafficking Awareness Month,   Franciscan Center, 3010 N Perry Ave., Tampa, FL 33603. Jan 11, 2018 – – Wear Blue Day!  A day where we can all pledge our solidarity with victims of human trafficking and raise awareness about, and work to end, this heinous crime.   Help us bring trafficking out of the shadows and into plain sight.

Jan 15, 2018, 1:00 p.m. – Florida Room, SCC Atrium Building – Our 2018 Movie Presentation of “Stolen From the Suburbs” along with a law enforcement presentation on Human Trafficking and Free Popcorn too.  See the Meeting Flyer here – – >  2018 movie.

Jan. 20, 2018 – – Saturday, 4:30 -5:30 pm, Light Up the Night – 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk, Pasco Hernando State College Porter Campus, 2727 Mansfield Blvd, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543. CAHT board members are participating. Let’s form teams! Race is $30 and walk is $20. Registration ends January 19th.  Monies raised benefit the following agencies, many CAHT supports each year:  Bridging Freedom, Healing Root Ministry, Justice Restoration Center, West Florida Center for Trafficking Advocacy, Loving You Where You Are At, Redefining Refuge, and the U.S. Institute Against Human Trafficking. Jan 30, 5:30-7:30 pm, For Her – A Glimpse into a Future of Hope, Hillsborough County Bar Association, Cohen Hall, 1610 North Tampa Street, Tampa, FL 33602, $25 donation in advance or $30 at the door, sponsored by Bridging Freedom.  Hors d’oeuvres, silent auction and 50/50 drawing.  Celebrating the building of a long-term therapeutic safe home campus for young girls.  Contact: forher@bidgingfreedom.org.
